POTENTIAL FOR FALLING OBJECTSLifting operations are designed and engineered to prevent loads from dropping; however, the potential for a load to fall still exists. It is essential that personnel do not enter the drop zone during lifting operations. When defining a drop zone, consideration should be given to the possibility for the falling items to be deflected, slide or bounce some distance from the original load path.

INTERFACE BETWEEN TWO OR MORE JOBSWhere there is more than one work scope being carried out within an area, it is important that any impact of these work scopes on each other is recognised and managed accordingly.
